Hi, Nice to see you again. Feel free to leave a question in the comments if you're unsure about something. I'll do my best to get back to you asap!
Being in this business you will meet lots of people who do not believe in the business model of network marketing. Either they think it’s some sort of pyramid scheme (the drastic end of the scale) or they think that only a few actually make money and it’s too hard and takes too long (the other end of the scale).
If you’re somewhere in the middle or closer to the “other end of the scale” you may need to work on increasing your belief. Those people who have “made it”, and I mean hugely successful, have an unshakable belief in this industry. And a lot of times that belief took time to develop.
It’s the same with anything. Take religion (I know one subject that’s probably too taboo)…but unless you were born into a highly religious family, then if someone came along and started telling you about Buddha (for example) and you’d had no prior idea who Buddha was, would you start to believe in everything Buddha stood for right away?
Probably not.
If it’s sounded interesting to you, you might attend a ceremony or service (whatever they call them in the Buddhism religion). If you weren’t completely turned off, you may attend some more and starting reading and listening to others about this topic.
Eventually your belief system would change.
It’s the same for network marketing.
When I was first introduced to network marketing a few years ago, my belief was almost nill, not 0, “almost nill”. So there was a slight chance.
I already had belief in the product, but the belief in the business opportunity just wasn’t there. But I had enough just to get me out to a couple meetings.
Which led to a few more meetings…and a few more and eventually one that I had to actually fly to. So what was happening?
My belief in network marketing was growing.
So if the millionaires in network marketing have an unshakable belief in this industry (and their company & products)…do you not think that this is something you need to strive to?
Believe me – one way to build belief is my immersing yourself in whatever it is you want to believe in.
Yearly conventions are not only a huge boost to your belief system, but they are fun, social and usually come with some freebies. The long term benefit is that your belief system will become unshakeable and your income will match those who have the same belief.
