Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such fantastic info being shared freely out there.

Glad to know that there’s an individual out there that definitely understands what he’s discussing. Great job.

I could not be more agree with you Tracy. Moreover, it could be dangerous. I think the real trick is do some fake-driving while you are filming. Just bring a friend (the real driver) meanwhile you pretend you are driving while filming. Cool :)

I like that Angie. Faking it would be fun…I’ve seen people just do it in the car but they are parked. So much safer. Tracy
      :) Thx

    Hi Tracy,

I have seen people do this a few times but I really wouldn’t want to give it a go in the UK where I live. People drive alot faster over here and all our road are twitting and turning, not a good combination.

I think I will give this one a miss. Great post and thanks for sharing.

Hang on Tracy, you’ll get used to it.
I don’t do so many vid in my car but I do like it just for the time saving. I can actually give information while driving. When I reach the office, I just upload and that’s it.
I can even talk about several topics and make a series of articles in juse 1 go.

For convenience and comfort, I use the tripod of my gps to hold the camera and I always have my remote control.
But security wise, I agree with you. It can be dangerous to do videos while driving. Especially when it your first time.
So instead of talking to the video, “I say that I’m in my car and I want to share an isight. Sorry if I don”t look at the camera.” Then I drive and talk as if I had a passenger in my car. It works for me.

Now, even if it is fun, I wouldn’t only have driving vids. I ‘d rather have a mix of driving, by the beach, in my garden and … in the office.
I wish you a very pleasant day.

LOL!! That was awesome! I was waiting for your camera to fall off or something like that but I think that was better. Not gonna lie car videos drive me nuts! It’s noisy, the lighting goes funky, no eye contact, and it makes me a little sick to my stomach sometimes. Just too distracting if you’re trying to make an important point.

Actually…still might do it..but will be more prepared and on a dirt road somewhere with no other traffic :)

    LOL Tracy! I loved it!

I’ve thought about this too, and now I am sure I will not be giving it a try! It would be too tempting to look at the camera at least once in a while. Not even if stuck in traffic would I do this, just as you need to go you’ll have to stop again, then, BAM!

    Great fun, thanks!
